Food Supply Chain Traceability System

The system is traceability management platform which includes meat and vegetable traceability monitor platform. 1. System Introduction

Chengdu Jiuzhou Food Supply Chain Traceability System is a food safety surveillance system facing to the public and administrative departments of the government, which is consisting of meat and vegetable traceability monitor platform, meat and vegetable wholesale market electronic transaction&management platform, meat and vegetable farmers' market management platform, food safety traceability information public query platform, meat and vegetable traceability standard system and etc. This system is designed based on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Technology and various modern network communication technologies as Internet, ZigBee, Wifi, GPS, GIS, GPRS. Important information of planting /cultivation, inspection and quarantine, slaughter, processing, transportation, wholesale, retail is collected by RFID reader/RFID scale and carried by IC/RFID card. In the retail process, a unique traceability code will be given to customers and customers can use web, hotline and SMS to check all the information of the food supply chain.

l Collect information of the whole food supply chain which includes planting/ cultivation, slaughter, processing, transportation, wholesale and retail;

l Realize the standard and electronic settlement in meat/vegetable wholesale and retail markets. Informationized management system includes background processing system, IC card and RFID scales is established to instead of the traditional manual ledger ;

l Electronic settlement and traceability system ensure the safety of trading funds;

l Offers a valid way of inquiry and traceability for consumer;

l Various system services function as information management, electronic commerce, electronic monitoring and logistics and distribution. 

l Traceability information inquiry via web, hotline and SMS.

3. System Characteristics

l Bases on B/S system platform of internet network. Users own different permissions do different management work;

l Integrate various information technologies as RFID, video monitoring and network. Be able to transfer, integrate heterogeneous information;

l Data collect, record and exchange to realize traceability of circulation circles; 

l Improve working efficiency and the accuracy of inspection and quarantine.
